Chief Executive Officer for Breman Brakwa Community Bank in the Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa District in the Central Region, Mr. Felix Dompreh, has cautioned shareholders and customers of the bank to be vigilant and stay away from internet fraudsters.
According to him, the rise in Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology has contributed to increasing cases of fraud within the banking sector, making it necessary for customers to be extra careful when carrying out online transactions.
Mr. Dompreh gave the advice during the bank’s 49th Annual General Meeting at Breman Asikuma Senior High School, where he addressed shareholders and outlined the bank’s performance and future plans.
He encouraged customers and shareholders to cultivate the habit of saving regularly with the bank to help improve its growth and enable it to achieve its targets.
Speaking to the event, President of the Central Regional House of Chiefs and Paramount Chief of the Breman Traditional Area, Odeefuo Amoakwa Boadu VIII, commended management of the bank for its continuous support towards developmental activities within the constituency.
He urged the management to continue working hard and provide effective support to customers and strengthen public confidence in the bank.
