Mr Joseph Kontoh, the Parent Teacher Association Chairman of the African Faith Basic School at Odomase in the Sunyani West Municipality has appealed for classroom blocks to advance academic progress.

He said some of the school children now studied under trees and others in a dilapidated wooden structure and appealed to the Sunyani West Municipal Assembly and NGOs and philanthropists to come to their aid.

Speaking in an interview with Sompa FM said established in 2012 by the African Faith Church, the school had not received any physical development support from the government, though the teachers were under the Ghana Education Service.

He said the church had released an acre of land, and called for support towards the development of the land, worrying that their present location was not conducive for teaching and learn.
