Iran says it will coordinate reopening of Strait of Hormuz while both sides claim deal as a victory. Israel says it is continuing ground operations in Lebanon.

Here's the latest

• Ceasefire deal: Both President Donald Trump and Iran have portrayed the last minute ceasefire deal as a victory for their nations. Trump says many aspects of a 15-point plan have been agreed to, adding that the US will work with Iran to dig up and remove buried uranium in the country.

• Strait of Hormuz: Trump also suggested the US may be involved in securing the critical waterway in a “joint venture” with Iran, while Tehran said Iran’s military will coordinate the passage of ships. Shipping experts have cautioned not to expect an immediate return to normal vessel movements.

• Talks in Pakistan: Pakistan’s prime minister invited delegations from Iran and the US to Islamabad for talks on Friday. Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff, son-in-law Jared Kushner, and Vice President JD Vance are expected to attend.

• Strikes in Lebanon: The Israel Defense Forces said today that it completed the largest coordinated strike in Lebanon since the war began, claiming it targeted the Iran-backed militant group Hezbollah.
