17-years-old Clara Quianoo, a mobile money vendor has sustained severe hand injury after robbers stormed her shop at Kasoa Amanfrom Las Vegas in the Ga South Municipality in the Greater Accra Region and took away with over GH¢30,000.
The incident occured on Monday, January 27, 2025, around 8pm when the victim had closed and locking up her shop.
Victim, Clara Quianoo in an interview with Sompa TV's Eric Annan, noted that some two guys on a motorbike, arrived at his shop when locking up to the house after a hard day's work.
She said, one of the guys held her hand and took him inside the shop and asked her to bring out her money, which she initially declined telling the guy she had closed.
She narrated that the other guy who in the process was on the motorbike, pulled out a pistol and attempted to shoot while the other dragged her inside the shop and pulled a knife at her.
According to her, in an attempt to prevent these robbers from doing away with her money, the guy with knife slashed her hand with the knife which rendered her powerless for them to flee with her GH¢30,000.
No arrest has yet been made after reporting the incident to the Amanfrom police command.
