Local Government Minister Ahmed Ibrahim has assured of plans to re-lay the bill establishing the University of Local Governance in Akomadan after the Eighth Parliament failed to pass it.

He revealed that consultations between him and the Education Minister will forge on to bring the bill into law and subsequently set up the University.
