Prioritize Women Empowerment For Robust Ghanaian Economy - Gov't Urged

Chief Executive Officer of philanthropic organization, Penyman Foundation, Mr. Eric Kwesi Taylor has urged government and political figures to consider empowering women in their society to build a more stronger economy.

Speaking in a media engagement on behalf of the philanthropist, Kojo Tawiah Appiah Ofori, his Personal Aide  described women to be good managers of money in sustaining businesses.

He advocated that when women are empowered with business ideas and subsequently supported financially, will help thrive the Ghanaian economy for a safer home.

Kojo Appiah in his address unveiled the foundation's aim to offer start up capital to over 5,000 women in the Central Region by the end of the year.

He made this statement at an event where the foundation willingly offered some 50 women of Breman Asikuma a start-up capital of Ghc5,000 each.

He further advised these women who have received of the foundation's benevolent gesture to make good use of the money to propel the foundation extend similar help to others in need, since they came for the money with a specific purpose which requires of them to keep focus.

Beneficiaries of the kind gesture who couldn't hide their joy, appreciated the foundation for restoring hope in their lives yet again, since it's rare for one to give out such money with no interest attached. .
