Madam Safiatu Ibrahim, a Midwife with Our Lady of Grace Hospital at Breman Asikuma in the Central Region has advocated the need for mothers to be accorded a special treat for their sheer hard work and enormous contribution to society development.

She asserted this when Our Lady of Grace Hospital in collaboration with Penyman Foundation in grant style, celebrated maternity mothers of the hospital during this year's Mothers Day Celebration on Sunday.

Speaking to the media at the event, Madam Safiatu Ibrahim observed mothers as special, thus, needs to be celebrated accordingly since mothers go through a lot at child birth and in nurturing children.

According to her, explained that the decision to celebrate this year's Mothers Day with maternity patients at the hospital is to make them feel special, since they happen not to be at home with their families.

Adding that pregnancy alone is a hard job for one to bare, and that midwives at the hospital organized the event to express to these maternity mothers how important they mean to them and the hospital.

Kojo Tawiah Appiah Ofori, Personal Aide to Mr. Eric Kwasi Taylor, the CEO of Penyman Foundation affirmed that women right from Bible days started to play vital roles which can never be overemphasized, amid their important role played in every child's life.
