President John Dramani Mahama has revealed that Vice President Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang is expected to return to Ghana by the close of next week, following a brief stint of medical attention in the United Kingdom.

Addressing a vibrant gathering at the Old Ghanata Astroturf in Dodowa as part of his 'Thank You Tour', the President delivered a reassuring update on her health status.

"I bring you greetings from H.E. the Vice President, Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang," he stated. "I'm delighted to inform you that I spoke with her on Thursday, May 15, and she will be back in the country before the week's end. By divine providence, she's made a full recovery and will resume her duties forthwith."

This announcement has brought immense relief to Ghanaians especially the NDC fraternity, who eagerly anticipate the Vice President's return to her esteemed role.
