Some traders and market women at the Sunvani Masom masom have called on the city authorities to relocate them to decent place to sell ahead of the plan decongestion exercise announced by the Assembly.

Mr Vincent Antwi Agyei, the Sunyani Municipal Chief Executive announced the exercise, scheduled for next week and to be undertaking at the Sunvani Central Business District enclave.

However, in an interview with Sompa FM, traders mostly market women said the exercise would deny them their socio-economic livelihoods if they were not relocated.

Madam Linda Bayor, a vegetable seller said she expected the Assembly to build a satellite market for them before the exercise was undertaking.

Mad Stella Kyeremaa, another trader said selling was her only source of livelihoods and clearing them from the roadside would affect in the upkeep of he family.
