President for the Central Regional House of Chiefs who doubles as paramount chief of Breman Traditional Area, Odeefuo Amoakwa Boadu VIII has urged citizens to help protect the country's roads from damaging.
He said the core mandate of the citizenry is to protect state properties of which roads can't be excluded since most of the country's roads have been destroyed due to poor maintenance structure.
Odeefuo Amoakwa Boadu VIII observed that whenever a road is about to destroy, it starts developing potholes, which is when citizens have to take critical look at it because filling that potholes will help protect the road from damaging.
He, therefore, called on all Assembly Members and chiefs in the Central Region to help organize communal labour in every month to help fix all potholes to help reduce government burden.
He urged commercial drivers, particularly pragyia and trotro users to set a particular day for clean-up exercise. Sharing the believe that should such practice be embraced will help shape the Central Region.
