Bono regional Police Command embarks on operation show of force at Sampa

The Bono Regional Police Command has embarked on an exercise dubbed, "operation show of force" at Sampa, in the Jaman North district of the region. 

‎The exercise was led by the Deputy Regional Commander and Operation personnel stationed at Sampa on Saturday October 11.

‎The ''operation show of force" saw the men and women in black uniform parading through the principal streets of Sampa to reassure residents of maximum security in the area.

‎In an interview with Sompa FM, the Bono regional Police Public Relation Officer, Chief Inspector Thomas Akeelah said, "The exercise commenced at 0900 hours and concluded around 1030 hours, covering all major streets and routes in and around Sampa."

‎He added that, "It was an exercise to reassure the public of their safety and the presence of robust security around them."

‎"The Police is urging market women not to be afraid to visit the market, as their safety is assured", Chief Inspector Akeelah stressed.
