‎Police officers caught in alleged viral bribery video interdicted

Some officers of the Bono regional Command of the Ghana Police Service caught in a viral video allegedly taking bribe has been interdicted.


‎The Bono Regional Police Command says it has initiated an investigation into the said officers captured in the video
‎circulating on social media that shows they were allegedly taking money from motorists.
‎
‎"The officers involved have been identified and interdicted to allow for a thorough and impartial investigation into the incident", the Public Relations Officer of the Command, Chief Inspector Thomas Akeelah said in a statement.
‎
‎The Command also assured the public of its commitment to upholding the highest standards of professionalism and accountability among its personnel.
