Asokore Mampong Rural Bank Records Significant Profit Growth, Announces New Branch in Kumasi

Asokore Mampong Rural Bank has announced a remarkable financial performance, recording a net profit before tax of 1.62 million Ghana cedis for the year 2024—representing a growth of 157 percent compared to the previous year.

This was revealed during the bank’s 4th Annual General Meeting held on November 14, 2025. The event brought together traditional leaders from Asokore Mampong, board members, CEOs, directors, lawyers, and hundreds of shareholders.

Speaking at the gathering, the Vice Chairman for Shareholders, Mr. Sefa Dankwa, disclosed that the bank’s total assets rose from 30.75 million Ghana cedis in 2023 to 50.78 million Ghana cedis in 2024, marking a 65 percent growth. He encouraged residents and nearby communities to purchase shares to support the bank’s expansion and urged traders to take advantage of the bank’s loan facilities to grow their businesses.

The Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Francis Nantwi, also expressed satisfaction with the bank’s progress. He announced plans to open a fourth branch at Adum in Kumasi. Mr. Nantwi further highlighted an improvement in total deposits, which increased from 28.03 million Ghana cedis in 2023 to 44.34 million Ghana cedis in 2024—another 65 percent growth.

The bank says it is committed to strengthening its operations as it continues to expand and support economic activities within the Asokore Mampong municipality and beyond.
