10 suspects seen in a video physically harassing and abusing two young women at Wassa Dawuranpong in the Western Region have been arrested by a Special Cyber Vetting and Enforcement Team of the Ghana Police in collaboration with the Western Central Police Command.
According to a press release by the police dated November 27, 2025, the two women were harassed and abused for allegedly stealing money from a gold-buying shop.
The statement indicated that three of the suspects, named as Eric Donkor, also known as Killer Block, 32; Yaw Gyimah, 29; and Edmond Nartey, 24, who were seen in the video abusing the women by cutting through their scalp with a razor, are currently in police custody.
However, the fourth suspect, Tawiah, also known as Awaga, seen cutting through the scalp of one of the women, is currently at large.
The statement also added that Steven Amu, 24; Farouk Balas, 18; Mensah Bernard, 18; Adu Baggeo, 23; Bismark Nyarko, 30; Akwesi Poku George, 18 and Oteng Alfred, 23, have also been arrested for playing various roles in aiding and abetting.
The police administration said it was making the necessary efforts to provide the victims with the needed support.
The Western Central Regional Police Command cautions the public against taking the law into their own hands and advises that all arrested persons be handed over to the Police to be taken through the due process of the law.
