The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced the release of all outstanding feeding grants for Special Schools across the country.

The funds cover the 3rd term of the 2024/2025 academic year as well as the 1st term of the 2025/2026 academic year.

In a statement issued by the Public Relations Unit and signed by the Head of Public Relations, Daniel Fenny, GES confirmed that the grants have been fully disbursed to the appropriate school accounts.

Additionally, the Service has released all outstanding payments for perishables owed to Senior High Schools (SHS) and Senior High Technical Schools (SHTS).

These funds cover the period from 29th July to 17th October 2025 and are intended to support meal preparations and ensure continuous food supply across the schools.

GES noted that all transfers have been successfully completed, benefiting Special Schools, SHS, and SHTS nationwide.

Heads of beneficiary institutions have been instructed to promptly submit official receipts acknowledging the funds received. These acknowledgements must be routed through Regional Accountants to the Director-General.

The statement emphasized management’s confidence in the cooperation of school heads and reiterated GES’s ongoing commitment to promoting effective teaching, learning, and inclusive education throughout the country.
