‎The Municipal Chief Executive of Afigya Kwabre South in the Ashanti Region, Patricia Pearl Ankrah, has refutes allegations of selling school land to a private developer to build stores at Atimatim Maase.

‎According to her, the claim is baseless and she has no involvement in the matter.

‎In a statement, Madam Ankrah explained that when she assumed office, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) had already been signed with the private developer to construct a wall around the school due to encroachment and unauthorized use of the school compound.

‎Madam Ankrah emphasized that she has not awarded any school land to a private developer and clarified that the Assembly cannot sell school land as it belongs to the chiefs. "All lands belongs to the chiefs," she reiterated.

‎The MCE urged the public to disregard the allegations, stating they are unfounded and aimed at tarnishing her reputation.

‎"I have come to serve the good people of Afigya Kwabre South and give them more development as stated in my media encounter",  she stressed.
