The University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR) Women's Commission (WOCOM) has organized the SHE Conference, a program aimed at empowering female students on campus and in the community. The event was held on campus and also took the team to various schools, including Sunyani Technical School, Catholic University, and Ntordam Girls' SHS.

The theme of the conference was "Raising Women, Shaping the Future: Educate Her, Empower Her for Action." Osei Lydia Achiamaa, WOCOM Chair of UENR, stated that the purpose of the program was to empower women for leadership roles, as many women often lack the confidence to take on certain responsibilities.

Achiamaa emphasized that the event aimed to educate women and girls that being a woman is not a limitation, but rather an opportunity to excel. She stressed that women can achieve anything men can, and encouraged them not to be afraid to take on challenges. "Do not fear, and whatever you are doing, do it better," she urged.urged.
