GPRTU members blocked the main lorry station, causing passenger delays, and wore red armbands in protest of the assembly's order.

The Municipal Assembly claims the relocation is necessary to reduce traffic congestion, but drivers argue it will negatively impact their economic activities.
Tensions increased following the arrest of a driver for refusing to comply with the directive to stop loading at the main station.
