Atwima Mponua DCE Assures Relief for Obuasekrom heavy rain devastation Victims

The District Chief Executive of Atwima Mponua in the Ashanti region, Hon Ibrahim Issahak, has assured residents of Obuasekrom that efforts are underway to provide relief for the victims after a heavy downpour devastated the community. 

‎The rainstorm, accompanied by strong winds, destroyed properties, including schools, churches, and houses, leaving many stranded and displaced.

‎Hon Issahak has instructed the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) to assess the damage and provide necessary support. 

‎He described the situation as dire, with the community in urgent need of assistance. "The rain has really destroyed a lot of properties in the area," he said, adding that the community is in dire need of support.

‎The DCE made a passionate appeal to well-meaning individuals and organizations to come to the aid of the affected residents. "We are calling on benevolent individuals to come to their aid because Obuasekrom community really needs help," he said. 

‎The Atwima Mponua assembly is rallying behind the affected residents.
