‎Residents of Bekwai Amoafo in the Ashanti Region are living in fear after a woman, believed to be in her 30s, took her own life in a cocoa farm.

‎The woman, not a resident of the community, was found hanging from a cocoa tree, leaving the community in shock.
‎
‎According to Assemblyman Hon. Dickson, the incident is unprecedented in Bekwai Amoafo, and efforts are underway to locate the woman's family. "This is the first time such a tragedy has occurred here, and it's brought fear and panic to the residents," he said.

‎The woman's body has been taken to the morgue, and the police are investigating the circumstances surrounding her death.
