Mr Vincent Antwi Agyei, the Sunyani Municipal Chief Executive has commended the Muslims for their peaceful co-existence with other religious sects in the Municipality.

He said the Sunyani Municipal Assembly really appreciated the cooperation and invaluable contributions of the Muslims towards sustaining the prevailing peace of the Municipality.

As the Muslims prepare to end the 2026 Ramadan, Mr Agyei cautioned the Muslim youth in particular to celebrate the festive season in moderation and also guard against waywardness and behaviours that could fetch them troubles.
Mr Agyei gave the commendation in an interview with Sompa FM in Sunyani.

Mr Agyei cautioned the Muslim youth against acts of lawlessness and unacceptable behaviours like careless riding of motorbikes as they celebrate the seasons, urging them to channel their exuberances into productive activities.

He observed that Zongo youth like others had huge potential, and pledged the government's dedication to help unearth and build on those prospects for them to contribute meaningfully to accelerated national development.
