School children of the Estate Experimental Basic School in the Sunyani Municipality has celebrated the Ghana Month with the exhibition of brilliant cultural displays.
Dressed in locally made customs, the pupils and student were also taken through the preparation of local cuisines.

Speaking in an interview with Sompa FM on the sidelines of durbar for the observance of the heritage month in Sunyani, Mr Abed Kyeremeh, the Head teacher said the school organised the durbar annually to help imbibe in the children the spirit of patriotism.

He expressed concern about poor security in the school contributing to rise in theft, appealing for improved infrastructure development for effective teaching and learning.
Mr Kyeremeh said the school also needed ICT devices to advance the study of technology 
Madam Millicent Oppong, a teacher also highlighted the relevance of the observance of the Ghana Month, saying that would enlighten the school children more and help preserve culture and tradition as well as inspiring to develop the taste and consume tradition dishes.
