Mr Vincent Antwi Agyei, the Sunyani Municipal Chief Executive has urged Baakoniaba, Yawhima and Kuotokrom residents in particular, to remain calm, assuring that the deplorable condition of roads in those communities would be reshaped soon.
He said Mr Seid Mubarak, the MP for Sunyani East was working tirelessly for contracts to be awarded for construction work to commence on the Baakoniba-Sunyani as well as the Yawhima-Sunyani Road projects.
Mr Agyei gave the assurance when he spoke to Ama Konadu on the Wednesday edition of the Sunyani-based Sompa FM’s “Adea Akye Abia” Morning Show, saying that the government jad prioritized road construction.
Mr Agyei also touched on sanitation and waste management in the Municipality, saying that the Municipal Assembly remain dedicated to improving sanitation and to keep the city clean.
