Pastor J Y Kumi, the New Dormaa branch Pastor of the Church of Pentecost in the Sunyani Municipality has urged Christians to use the Easter festivities to reflect, build and deepen their intimacy with God.
Speaking in an interview with Sompa FM at New Dormaa, he said the festive season offered opportunity for Christians to reflect on the sacrifice Jesus Christ made to reconcile sinful man with the holy God.
Pastor Kumi admonished Christian against indulging in sin and worldly pleasures and amusements, saying that doing so would attract God’s punishment and judgement.

Brother Kwame Jacob, a youth leader of the church also told Sompa FM that Christ died for the sinful, explaining that renouncing sin and accepting Jesus Christ as once personal saviour secured earthly and heavenly comforts, here and hereafter.
