Alhaji Abass Moro, the Public Relations Officer of the Ghana Private Road Transport Union says the union is waiting for government response on steps being taking to reduce fuel prices in the country.
He explained that a planned meeting between the government, commercial transport operators and other stakeholders was postponed, saying that they were optimistic that the government would do something about the price of fuel.
Alhaji Moro said this when he spoke to Kwasi Kyei Baffour on the Friday edition of the Sunyani-based Sompa FM “Adea Akye Abia” morning show.

In another interview, Mr Smith Baohene, a Senior Research Policy Analyst says that factors like global oil prices, exchange rates, and government decisions on taxes determined fuel price increment, urging the need for the nation to wait for the next pricing window before any adjustments in fuel pricing.
