Mr Joseph Addae Akwaboa, the Bono Regional Minister has handed over the site for the construction of 24hour market in the Sunyani Municipality.

At a ground breaking ceremony held at the Nana Bosoma Central market in the Municipality, the regional minister said project aligned government’s 24-hour economy initiative aimed at boosting economic growth and development.
He explained that modern market would contain facilities like fire and police stations, warehouses and storage rooms for traders and other essential facilities like washrooms.

 
Mr Vincent Antwi Agyei, the Sunyani Municipal Chief Executive emphasized that the government was dedicated to improve the local economy and urging traders and public support for the smooth construction of

the market.He said the market would enhance business activities, create employment opportunities, and contribute significantly to local economic progress and development.
