Mrs Charity Gardener, the Ahafo Regional Minister has inspected construction work on the some 'legacy projects' of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Asunafo North Municipality of the region.
The legacy projects are physical infrastructure projects initiated by the NDC in 2016, but abandoned by the previous administration.
Accompanied by Mr Joseph Joseph Akparibo, the Asunafo North Municipal Chief Executive, the Regional Minister inspected the progress of work on the
construction of the Goaso market, the Municipal Assembly office building and the King Faisal Kindergarten block projects at Goaso.
Other projects include construction of a girls' toilet at the Mim Senior High School, 12-unit classroom block at the Mpomaze Anglican school as well as Fiako
Community-based Planning Service Compound (CHPS) and a six-unit classroom block project at Abeberese.
Mrs Gardener also inspected the level of works of the construction of the Bechem CHPS compound, three-unit classroom block at the Bobkrom Islamic school.
In an interview with the media, Mr Akparibo who spoke on behalf of the Regional Minister said the government was putting several interventions in place to better the livelihood of the people.
Mr Akparibo commended the contractors executing those development projects in the area, saying that work had resumed on the construction of 27 NDC's legacy projects in the municipality.
