Mr Eric Atanga, the Chairman of the Pragyia (tricycle) Riders Association has justified the increment of pragyia fares urging users’ cooperation.
He expressed worry that the association had been left out in negotiating and regulating transport fares in the country for a long time.
Mr Atanga gave the advice when he spoke to Ama Konadu on the Sunyani-based Sompa FM “ Adea Akye Abia “ morning show in Sunyani on Tuesday.

He explained that, the association has not increased transport fares since 2024, adding that the recent increment has been necessitated due to several factors.
Mr Atanga attributed the upward adjustment in their fares to rising cost of spare parts and the hikes in petroleum products.
