The Ghana Education Service (GES) has interdicted a teacher of Bole Senior High School in the Savannah Region following allegations of sexual misconduct involving a student.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, GES said it had become aware of a disturbing video circulating on social media, allegedly involving the teacher and a student of the school.

According to the statement signed by the Head of Public Relations of GES, Daniel Fenyi, the Service has commenced investigations into the matter and has directed that the teacher be interdicted pending the outcome of the investigations. Below is the full statement from GES
