A Counsel of State Member from the Central Region who doubles as the NDC Chairman for Twifo Atti-Morkwa Constituency, Mr. Hakeem Addai has expressed President John Mahama's second term as blessing to Ghana.
He praised John Mahama’s leadership, stating that the nation has seen smoother operations under his governance compared to the previous administration.
During a recent collaboration with the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Twifo Atti Morkwa, Mr. Hakeem Addai urged his fellow Council Members to actively engage with their respective DCEs to evaluate every ongoing developmental projects.
This appeal came as the council inspected school feeding programs in various areas within the district, emphasizing the importance of community involvement.
Mr. Addai also addressed the issue of hooliganism affecting school feeding programs to call for reduction in such behavior.
Hon. Issac Yawson, DCE for Twifo Atti-Morkwa District also assured that the current exercise aims to ensure that students receive quality meals. He confirmed that, after personally tasting the food served, he is satisfied with the standards being upheld.
He reiterated that the school feeding initiative aligns with Mahama’s campaign promise to "reset Ghana" for prosperity.
Hon. Yawson urged the public to reconsider their support for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), labelling them as detrimental to the country's progress, while emphasizing that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) always prioritizes the welfare of Ghanaians when in power.
