Madam Millicent Amankwaa Yeboah, the Member of Parliament for Sunyani West has cut the sod for the construction of some development projects in the constituency.
The projects include a community-based Health Planning Service (CHPS) compound at Abisu, three-bedroom quarters for the Sunyani West Municipal Health Director at Odumase as well as six-unit classroom block at Adentia and three-units classroom block at the Nsoatre TI Ahmadiya school in the constituency.
Speaking at the ceremony at separate ceremonies at Abisu, Adentia and Nsoatre, Mad Amankwaa said the projects were being funded by the District Assembly Common Fund (DACF), saying the government had released about 80 percent of the DACF for development projects.

Mr Joseph Addae Akwaboah, the Bono Regional Minister said the government was ready to pay contractors, saying contractors who had raised their certificates would be paid soon.
At Abisu, the Regional Minister promised to tackle the poor telecommunication network in the area.
Nana Yaa Adansi Puduo, the Paramount Queen mother of Odomase Number One Traditional Area expressed appreciation to the government for the projects.
