Mr Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, the National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has extended the party’s gratitude to chiefs and people of Wenchi in the Bono Region for their massive support to the NDC during the Election 2024.

He said the NDC truly acknowledged the loyalty and contributions of the chiefs and people of Wenchi towards the party’s electoral victory in the last General Elections.

Mr Nketiah expressed the appreciation when he addressed a political rally of NDC supporters and some traditional authorities at Wenchi, when he extended his nationwide “Thank you tour” to the region.

He said the government would also reciprocate the love and loyalty shown to the party by ensuring the Wenchi constituency equally benefited from implementation of the social and economic intervention programmes and also bring the development of the area to the next level.

Mr Nketiah said the government had prioritized improvement in health, education and road infrastructure as well as job creation, assuring that the Wenchi constituency would receive its fair share of execution of those projects.

Alhaji Seidu Haruna, the Member of Parliament for Wenchi also expressed his appreciation to the chiefs and people of the area for retaining him as their MP for the second consecutive time.

He pledged his dedication to work hard to advance the progressive development of the constituency, promising to do more to tackle the emerging development needs of the constituents.
Madam Gloria Opoku, the Wenchi Municipal Chief Executive said the government was executing several development projects in the municipality to better the lives of the people.
