Mr Bartholomew Nathaniel Nkum, the Sunyani East Constituency Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has commended the party for peaceful and successful conduct of the just ended presidential primary.

He urged the party to rally solidly behind the former Vice President Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, saying with the support the re-election of the former president as the Election 2028 flagbearer would lead the party to elector victory in the next General Elections.

Speaking in an interview with Sompa FM in Sunyani on the outcome of the presidential primary, Mr Nkum highlighted the need for the party to remain formidable, urging the members and supporters to bury their differences.

He reminded that the goal of the NPP was regain political power, saying that could only be achieve through party unity.

Mr Nkum praised the police for their immense contributions that led to the successful and peaceful conduct of the elections.
