Mr Kwaku Agyemang Manu, the former Minister of Health says he is shocked that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) government has not prosecuted him, despite allegations of corruption leveled against him when he was a minister.
The former Dormaa Central Member of Parliament chastised his political detractors and saboteurs, justifying that he was now walking freely on the streets.
Speaking at the commissioning of the Asikasu-Nsuhia Maternity Ward in the Dormaa Central Municipality of the Bono Region, Mr Manu said he served the nation dearly, refuting allegations of corruption against him.
The former MP started the construction of the maternity block project which was completed by Mr John Kwame Adu Jack, the present MP.
Mr Manu inspired the sitting MP to remain focus, not succumbing unnecessary demands and pressure from the party people.
Mr Dominic Adoma Ameyaw, the Dormaa Central Municipal Chief Executive said effective collaboration was required between the former and the present MP as well as the Assembly for resumption of work and completion of the ‘Agenda 111 District Hospital’ project in the area, initiated by the previous administration.
