The New Patriotic Party, has expressed concerns regarding the government's apparent lack of action on the Anti-LGBTQ+ Bill, which has been a crucial topic of discussion and contention that featured prominently during the recent election campaign in the country.


In a press conference convened today at their national headquarters, Member of Parliament for Assin South, Hon John Ntim Fordjour, articulated his deep disappointment and growing frustration over what he perceived to be a marked lack of commitment from the President on this critical legislative issue.


He emphasized the urgency of the matter by calling upon the President to take the initiative to address the nation directly, urging for a clear and transparent clarification of the government's position regarding the bill.
