Nkoranza South National Democratic Congress (NDC) Youth organizer, Isaac White, has asserted that the party must govern Ghana beyond a single eight-year term to demonstrate meaningful development and justify the confidence of Ghanaians.
Speaking on ‘Ghana Nkomo’ a socio-political show hosted by Akua Nyarko Abronoma at Sompa FM-Sunyani, he stated that any return of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to power after an eight-year tenure of the NDC would be a clear indication that the NDC failed to deliver on its mandate.
“If NPP comes back to power after eight years, it means NDC did not do anything for the country,” he stated.
Isaac White criticized what he described as the “harsh and difficult” governance experienced by Ghanaians under the current administration, arguing that despite these challenges, a comeback by the NPP would suggest that the NDC’s performance fell short of expectations.
“Considering the kind of wicked ruling this government has put Ghanaians through, if they still return to power after eight years, it tells you the NDC’s work was not enough to go beyond the same eight years the NPP governed,” he added.
His comments come amid ongoing political discussions about governance, accountability, and performance benchmarks as Ghana prepares for future electoral contests.
