Odeefour Ogyeamansan Boahen Korkor outlines vision for Sunyani's development

The Paramount Chief of the Sunyani Traditional Area, Odeefour Ogyeamansan Boahen Korkor II, has outlined his vision of transforming Sunyani into a befitting city.

He said accessing improved digital technology would better the lives of especially vulnerable people in the Sunyani Traditional Area.

Speaking a breakfast meeting with corporate bodies in Sunyani, Odeefour Ogyeamansan Korkor II said he remained to advance the development of the traditional area and Sunyani in particular.

The chief said he had introduced a free Wi-Fi system in the Sunyani Township to advance learning, teaching and research outcomes.

The Paramount Chief emphasised that need to ensure that the socio-economic livelihoods of vulnerable people like wheelbarrow pushers were improved, worrying about lack of shelter for some of the wheel barrow pushes.

Odeefour Ogyeamansan Korkor II said more efforts ought to be dome integrate vulnerable individuals into productive economic activities.

He said the development of Sunyani was holistic, encompassing infrastructure and technology as well as enhancing better living condition of the people.
