Hundreds of football loving fans assembled at the premises of SOMPA FM to watch their favourite football superstar Asamoah Gyan.

 Omanhene Adu Boakye earlier on Thursday morning had extensive discussions with the former Ghana Black stars captain on Sompa Tv. The interview covered politics, football and his career.

Explaining his visit to the Ashanti Kingdom, he said, he is on mission to promote a product as an ambassador.

“I’m here to do activation for trillion Ghana, producers of run energy as a brand ambassador and to also interact with my teeming supporters and friends who have over the years supported me, and you know, Kumasi is my home, he said.

Interacting with the massive supporters who have gathered, most expressed joy for meeting their supper star and prayed Ghana Football Association to include Asamoah Gyan to the Qatar 2022 squad.
