Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club midfielder Seth Kwadwo has stated that the club’s latest win will motivate the team for the big clash against rivals Accra Hearts of Oak.
Kotoko take on their biggest rivals Hearts of Oak on Sunday, November 9 at the Accra Sports Stadium with both teams heading into the game undefeated.
Hearts beat Basake Holy Stars 2-1 while Kotoko beat Karela 4-2 at the Baba Yara Stadium in the Porcupine Warriors’ first game after exiting the CAF Confederation Cup at the hands of Morocco’s Wydad Athletic Club.
Seth Kwadwo was one of the scorers as his header from the right side of the penalty box found the left side of the net to give Kotoko a 3-1 first half lead.
Midfielder Hubert Gyau’s brilliant brace caught the eye but Kwadwo ended up winning the Man of the Match Award and the former Bechem United player believes the win sets the team right for the big clash.

“It’s a massive win and it will boost our morale…and this win will motivate us going into the super clash” he said.
