Real Madrid head coach Xabi Alonso believes that his team didn’t create chances and that played a role in the club’s loss to Liverpool.

On the part of Xabi Alonso, who won the 2005 UEFA Champions League with Liverpool as a player, his team struggled to create chances hence the loss.

“It was [a] really tight, tight game. The momentum, they got the lead and after we tried it was always going to be an intense game.”

“Unluckily we couldn’t get anything. We have tried, for sure, we have reached the last line, but we didn’t create that many chances as expected” he said via Amazon Prime.
