The Ghana Football Association has officially announced the rescheduling of Matchday 30 of the Ghana Premier League to Wednesday, May 6, 2026, following the suspension of this weekend’s fixtures in honour of the late Dominic Frimpong.

The adjustment also serves to provide Berekum Chelsea additional time to recover from the tragic incident, ensuring the club and its players are given the necessary space during this difficult period.

The Football Association has called on all clubs, match officials and key stakeholders to take note of the revised schedule and comply accordingly.

Meanwhile, all remaining fixtures from Matchday 31 through to Matchday 34 will proceed as originally planned. Matchday 31 is set to be played between Friday, May 1 and Sunday, May 3, 2026, in line with the existing league calendar.
