They said their hopes and expectations remained higher, urging the playing body to focus and secure at least a lone goal in the encounter.

Speaking in a random interview with Sompa FM in Sunyani, the ecstatic fans noted that securing a victory in their first match would not only boost the team's morale, but also strengthen its support base.

They encouraged the players that Panama 'is not stronger that our side', and urged team to approach the game with determination, discipline, and a winning mentality.
