Mr Collins Ofinam Takyi, the former Tano South Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) in the Ahafo Region says all the aspirants who have filed their nominations to contest the national chairmanship slot of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) are capable to lead the party to political victory in the Election 2028.

He told Kwasi Kyei Baffour on the Sunyani-based Sompa FM "Me Man Nti' political show that all the aspirants could lead the party to regain political power in the next General Election.

Mr Takyi also explained the reasons behind the withdrawal of the incarcerated Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known in the political circle as "Chairman Wontumi's from the national chairmanship race of the party.

Presently 'Chairman Wontumi' who was convicted for illegal mining offenses is at the Nsawam prison, serving 20 years jail term.
