Commercial drivers in the Sunyani Municipality have expressed concern about the rise in prices of fuel, calling for government subsidy.
In an interview with Sompa FM in Sunyani, called for immediate reduction of the fuel hikes in the interest of both the drivers and passengers.
A cabbie, Richard Agyei noted that international factors, including the US-Ukraine was should not justify the increment in the fuel prices.
Atta Kusi, another driver also called on President John Dramani Mahama's intervention to control the fuel price increment.
Meanwhile, Mr Toney Oheneba Kakari, a Shift Captain at a GOIL filling station in Sunyani also expressed similar sentiments, saying that the fuel attendants also bear the brunt of the fuel increment.
