GNFS urges road contractors to improve public safety around construction sites

The Assistant Divisional Officer Grade One (ADO1), Kwame Adomako, the Bono Regional Public Relations Officer of the Ghana National Fire Service has urged contractors executing various road projects in Sunyani and parts of the Municipality to improve safety measures around their construction sites.

Speaking to Ama Konadu on the Sunyani-based Sompa FM "Adea Akyi Abia" morning show, he said the safety of the public ought to be paramount, as infrastructure development improved.

ADO1 Adomako noted that as road infrastructure development improved in the Sunyani Municipality, contractors ought to mount warning signs and also close gutters and pits that exposed the public to danger.
