16Odeefour Ogyeamansan Boahen Korkor II, the Paramount Chief of the Sunyani Traditional Area has presented educational materials to some Senior High School (SHS) first year students in the area.
The items comprised student mattresses, pillows, chop boxes, trunks and sanitary pads.
Nana Kwame Addai, the Nifahene of the Sunyani Traditional Area presented the items on behalf of the paramount chief, saying that Odeefour Ogyemansan Korkor II had prioritized the growth and development of quality education.
Speaking at a ceremony in Sunyani, he explained that the Ogyeamansan Education Endowment Fund was set up for the paramount chief to achieve his vision in advancing quality education.
Some of the beneficiaries thanked the paramount chief for the gesture.
