WAN-Hive unveils Pluralistic Civil Society Programme

WAN-Hive Ghana, and partnership has launched a Pluralistic Civil Society Programme aimed at empowering 30 women with vocational and entrepreneurial skills to enable them to establish and grow sustainable businesses.

The programme seeks to equip participants with practical vocational skills while also providing them with knowledge in entrepreneurship, business development and marketing.

Speaking at a ceremony at Dumasua, the Chief Executive Officer of WAN-Hive Ghana, Miss Janat Issifu, explained that the programme had been carefully structured to support young entrepreneurs.

She noted that many entrepreneurs struggle to promote and market their product and services and thereby it difficult for them to expand their businesses.

Ms Issifu added that training would go beyond vocational skills to integrate business and marketing strategies, helping participants to better position themselves in the market and become more confident entrepreneurs.

Some of the participants described the initiative as a valuable opportunity and expressed their appreciation to WAN-Hive Ghana and its partners for investing in their development.

According to them, the training would help them acquire the skills and knowledge needed to properly market themselves and their businesses
