We need Unity to Rescue Rescue 189 Orphan Seats - Mr. Paul Afoko Charges NPP

An aspirant for the National Chairmanship position of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Paul Afoko, has charged the party to ensure unity to rescue the 189 orphan constituencies.

Mr. Paul Afoko who is contesting for the Chairmanship position of the party, scheduled on 3rd October 2026 at Kumasi of the Ashanti Region, was speaking at his campaign tour in the Central Region as he met with delegates.

According to him, the party currently has 87 seats in Parliament and needs unity to rescue the remaining 189 orphan seats.

He emphasized that the party needs to be adequately resource pending rifts to recapture power in the 2028 general elections.

He then charged the gathering with his vision to reunite, rebuild and recapture power if voted as National Chairman.
