The outgoing Minister of Trade and Industry led a delegation to Manhyia Palace to inform His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II about the Greater Kumasi Industrial City and Special Economic Zone project.
The project upon completion, will pave way for companies operating within priority sectors such as Cocoa Processing, Light and Heavy Industrial Manufacturing, Warehousing, Logistics, amongst others to set up for operation and most importantly create jobs and transform Ghana into an industrial hub.
The delegation included Mr. Pierre Frank Laporte, the World Bank Country Director, and officials of the World Bank and the Ministry of Trade and Industry.
It is hoped, this will lead to the creation of jobs and transformation of the country into an industrial hub.
