“Audio” Nana Addo’s Gov’t has excelled in providing 3.2 million Tonnes of Maize under Planting for food and Jobs – Dr Akoto Afriyie.

The minister of Agric, Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto has paid a glowing tribute to President Akufo Addo for the success made in producing 3.2 million metric Tones of Maize under the planting for and jobs initiative.

He disclosed this in a media engagement in Kumasi today August 8th, 2022.

According to him, Ghana has never seen such improvement under the agric sector in any administration, emphasizing that it has only occurred under the leadership of Nana Addo Dankwa.

“Last year within the seasonal patterns, we were able to produce 3.2 metric tones of maize, you agree with me that the more the demand, the high higher the price, so obviously, the prices are not static, he said.

On the buffer stock sector, the minister said there was no buffer stock under the NDC era until the NPP government took over.
